A Kitty Adventure Photo-Set

This is such a beautiful, fluffy, fat cat. His name is Sammy and I got the opportunity to get quite a few pictures of him when he was outside on his harness and leash. He’s really cute when he waddles through the grass and down the steps. He was really mad when he got outside and the leash was on him. Such a sassy cat!

I decided to finally go through them and do some more cropping and editing. I also messed around with different settings and filters and such. It was quite a bit of fun. Taken with my iPhone and edited in Photoshop~

A Fiery Night Photo-Set

This was during Spring Break. I was back home and hung out with my cousins. My roommate went back with me and we had a lot of fun with the fire. Here are just some of the pictures and edits (done in Photoshop). These were also taken with my iPhone. I also have a ton of videos and slow-mo videos of the fire. I haven’t uploaded them anywhere though.

Candles and Lighting

This picture was taken during my Spring Break, so it was quite awhile ago. My sister actually took it with my phone. It was the first time I had seen her since I got my new iPhone 5S. She really likes pictures and stuff, so I don’t blame her. I think it’s yet another thing we have in common now. Though I used to think, and still sometimes do, that we’re opposites.

I took her pictures (considered mine too?) and decided to play with them a bit in Photoshop. I originally just wanted to blur the background a bit, but I ended up going further and messed with the “bokeh” part of the tilt-shift blur. I prefer the second image to the first image, but I thought I’d share both.

Pink Skies Photo-Set

These are some pictures I took up north when I was visiting my sister and my gramma. Nature and animals are my favorite things to photograph. I’m really happy with my iPhone and the opportunities it gives me to capture good pictures. I edited these in Photoshop. I mainly changed the curves and levels, and then the one I posterized, which I think looks interesting.

Day 7: Picture of Something Multicolor | 365 Day Challenge

Haha, two posts just right now. I figured, to catch up, I really ought to get this post done too. At least it’s successfully posting, right? This is the last day of my posts for April, the first week of the challenge is coming to a close. I can’t believe it, to be honest. This whole thing is making me happy and is a new experience!

So, now onward with the post before I start rambling about nothing. >.>

Here’s the picture I’ve chosen. It’s actually a painting (Grid Motif) that I had to do for my color theory class that I took when I first started college last July. This was our final project, if I remember correctly. I didn’t like it at first but now I’ve come to be proud of it. Right now, I think, it’s hanging up in a cafe somewhere around here. The teacher wanted to use it and so I let her. Afterwards, I think she’s going to hang it up with some of the other motifs in the halls at school

Day 6: Picture of Something Red | 365 Day Challenge

So yeaaaaaaaah, awkward. I didn’t get yesterday’s post up either. I guess oh well. I’ve not really felt like doing anything or getting on the computer. I’ve felt really drained, emotionally and physically. On the bright side, at least today I feel better. I got to do some relaxing, which was nice.

So here’s a makeup for yesterday! It’s not all the way red, but it is primarily red. It’s something I made months ago when it was around the Holidays. I like it quite a bit, actually.

Day 2: Picture of Something Blue | 365 Day Challenge

I thought this challenge was going to be quite a challenge. I mean, I know this is called a challenge but you would think just taking a picture would be easy. Well, that thinking is wrong. I don’t really like the color blue that much. There’s not a lot of things in my apartment that are blue. In fact, nothing blue hardly ever catches my eye.

At least, that’s what I thought. The sky catches my attention very easily. It’s natural and beautiful. It was a couple of hours ago when I realized that’s what I would use for the challenge today. I took 4 pictures, but here’s the one I like best. Now, it may look like that was taken during the day, however, it wasn’t. That was taken between 8 and 9 pm! My phone takes pictures and makes some of them really light.

What I like most about this picture is how it goes from a darker shade of blue to practically white. Enjoy!
